    Those are some interesting tucks in the left shoulder seam (I don’t think they’re mirrored on the right), and I think it’s a straightforward shirtdress front with a self-tie scarf collar rather than a diagonal closure.

    Thanks for you sharp eye! I admit it would be odd to have a diagonal closure with buttons in the middle. However, as hard as I look I don’t see a self-tie scarf within the pattern of the dress. If you had time, I would love to see a sketch of what you mean.
