    God, all of those outfits are so sad… My “favorite” is the cautionary example of the mutton dressing like lamb, although the graphic T and belt and Madame Malvolio laces are too much.

    I was a teenager in the ’70s and a young adult in the ’80s. I didn’t look back later and think how awful the clothes were. I knew they were hideous at the time. The only clothes I liked were updated preppy classics by Ralph Lauren, which were out of my price range.
